Sometimes, we do not understand the values of the things that we are doing at the present time. On a daily basis, it might be very little. Over time, that accumulates a great value.
A consistent small change makes a huge difference
When we study the present value and the future value of money, we will understand that it is only a marginal change that makes a huge difference in the future. Einstein said compound interest is the 8th wonder of the world, and it is the most powerful force in the universe. A little change compounded over time makes a huge difference, be it an evolution, art, economy, politics, education, health, or an epidemic.
Compounding the value to the previous value is a significant factor in significant success. Sometimes it is very marginal as it seems but the accumulated or cumulative value will be significant. Whatever you do today might seem very little; however, over time you get the edge.
Instant Success does not last long
Those who seek instant success will fail in everything they do in the long term. Some celebrities may succeed for a short while. No instrumentalist will ever find success instantly. However, with full dedication and constant effort, it comes with time.
When I started out playing guitar, I found it difficult to move around the fretboards as anyone else. Over time, with constant practice, it started dashing through the fretboard with full control. When my daughter started the keyboard, it was very frustrating at the beginning. Later, she proved how could constant effort and dedication bring the magic with full control. Here is the video >>>
Being a researcher in the US, when I took the mandatory certification on “Protecting Human Research Participants” in 2010, from the National Institutes of Health Washington DC, I could not find any value at first. When I took the second certification in 2018, I could not find much value either since I was dealing with huge data on the stock market in New York City.
During this epidemic, when I dealt with big data of the confirmed cases in quantitative research, once again I fully realized how important are the things that we do each and every day with a focused goal. Another link >>>
Nothing comes easily
Nothing comes easily but with persistent effort, full of sacrifice and dedication. Success is not for the one who gives up. It is certainly for a living lie and others who want to fool the ignorant. We have to learn from Warren Buffet who is capable of making USD billions a day and also capable of losing as much and also coming back next to reap double and more.
