From a Shotgun Shack to King of Pop

Elvis’ one-bedroom shotgun shack!

This shack and the inmates survived one of the worst-ever natural disasters in the US, the Tupelo-Gainesville Tornado in 1936. At that time, the condition of this shack could not be in the pristine state as you see it now. That shotgun shack was the house where ‘the King was born, the king of Rock n’ Roll, Elvis Priestly. How do you feel when looking at the shack where Elvis was born and lived as a child and compare it with his great accomplishments at a later stage?

The Big Lesson

It is not where you were born or the richness of your environment and the wealth of your parents that take you to the top of the world, but it is your dreams, aspirations, dedication, and persistence with an unwavering belief in you.

Inspire and always think, poverty and adversity are not excuses but they are sometimes necessary to program you and propel you forward to reach the top for the one who has character and grit! God gives talents and abilities to each and every one of us; if we do not discover and polish them every day, no point in blaming anyone.

“Jamais desista dos seus sonhos”
“Never give up on your dreams.”
