About My Last Decade
Those were the days in the last decade while I was doing doctoral research in New York City. No one was allowed to see, meet, or contact me because I was on a great mission.
There were nine such full-size shelves full of various academic books and several terabytes of hard disks of research articles, scholarly works, industry publications, and dissertations. For over a decade, I had no time to do anything other than doing research, attending workshops, conferences, residencies, reading, and writing.
What motivates?
Thank you, Bloomberg, Klein, Irizarry, Billing, Bongiorno, and many others for making me so strong and determined. You tried your best to push me away, but that motivates me. Without that kind of determination, I might settle for less, sell for low, and will be dictated by others. Fortunately enough that does not happen to me and now, I’m enjoying freedom.
In India, you cannot talk freely or truthfully because you are supposed to be a slave and obliged to bow down to the thugs in the street, religion, and politics. As a slave, you shall do what they dictate. By doing that, you may get cheap food and drinks free. They will be much happier when you are so ignorant and a coward.
When I was walking through the streets that Dr. Ambedkar used, I was always thinking, “If he could get a doctoral degree, why can’t I get it?”
Relearning is much harder than learning
As a naturalized citizen, it is not easy to relearn everything in US universities. Here, the standards in doctoral and graduate programs are way different than the undergraduate and associate programs. Relearning makes it much harder. For that matter, most of them settle for less (coolies, securities, nurses, taxi drivers, cooks, and ‘mom-pop business’ with revenue equals expenditure; no profit, and no tax) and create humongous lies. Without molding a proper character, they do not merge with Western Culture but think and act in a failed old method.
This world is so big
In this world of Elon and corporate culture, they will not ever escape from that bondage. When his corporation can make more than the wealth of India’s richest man in a single day, imagine what things he could easily manipulate in other countries. There are 1000s of such corporations that do not even show their complete wealth and they are everywhere with an agenda. Colonialism is in a new form and the piling is already finished during this pandemic. Reaganism was the first phase and 911 was the second.
This world is so much bigger than India and the Middle East. Think and act big than be confined to local politics and small groups for selfish reasons or self-actualization.
Writing only for a positive change, not to hurt anyone
Based on facts, I write the truth that might hurt the hypocrites, opportunists, frauds, and thugs. I do not seek fake love and respect from them or owe them anything either. Breaking the bondage and change needs lots of courage and knowledge.
That is the lesson I want to share.
