The Worst Deception

What is the worst deception?

According to Plato, the worst of all deceptions is self-deception. With self-deception, you are lying to yourself. That prevents you from learning the truth. No everlasting success can be achieved without truth. Self-deception puts you in the same framework without any progress or change. Without any reasonable attempt, they simply believe that everything will be great in the future when clearly it is not. They find solace in icons and religions.

Every one of us is born with some extraordinary talent or unique feature. The one who discovered them earlier and dedicated for years will succeed.

Looking for a shortcut or an easy fix through deception can be costlier and that is the major cause of many failures. The one who carries fake credentials and fabricated caste certificates or the one who uses bribery, nepotism, or other illegal means can never progress beyond a limit. They are living lies who limit their growth through deception.

Unfortunately, the environment may be adverse that may cripple a person. At the same time, it could enable him to shine like gold after going through the furnace.

    Does it make a difference?

Choosing a deception or finding success truthfully depends on the character of a person. Only the latter one gives peace and fulfillment. It is like a fad and a fashion, the first one vanishes fast and the later one lasts. The one who opts the instant gratification chooses deception and fad.

    Where does the self-deception lead?

    To ultimate failure.
